Beside the sea

The sea brings many visitors to Gower. Harbour porpoise and whales can occasionally be spotted swimming by Worm’s Head, whilst seals are a frequent sight at several locations around the peninsula – including Mumbles and Overton Mere.

There are rich findings for any keen rock pooler along the beaches and shores of Gower. Starfish, anemone, lobsters, crabs, prawns, molluscs and fry (baby fish) can all be spotted, particularly along the beaches of Caswell and Port Eynon.
